We are Cornell for Peace and Justice, a diverse campus-wide coalition of students, staff and faculty dedicated to a progressive agenda of social justice and peace. We began several years ago as the Cornell Antiwar Coalition. In Spring 2004 we joined with the MVR Community for Peace and Justice and, with several other groups, held a unique series of educational events entitled Liberty and Justice for All. These events were designed to address a critical question facing our citizenry today: “How does this country best maintain its national security while defending cherished civil liberties and principles of justice?”
